Really miss my 330ci. It was a dog and I lost £7k on it (inc replacing everything trying to fix it - turns out it had undeclared cat D damage and was clocked!) last September.

I will get another one soon hopefully this Summer, but I want a Sapphire Black Coupe with low mileage + xenons + heated seats + harman Kardon + tan interior so being quite picky means it will take me a long time.

Parting shot, and if you see this plate on one for sale AVOID it!

Nope. Option S204A fitted at the plant. And yes...rapid enough for me. Not everyone chases the horses.

Isn't that just the standard Sport diff with the shorter final drive ratio? It's not an LSD or a user selectable option, it just comes with the car if you have a Sport?

Pretty much. As i understand it they were fitted to BMW's exported out of Europe. Mine was made in Germany, exported to Japan and finally imported to the UK! Revs real high. You dont want to be on the motorway for long. but my driving fortunately mainly town and A roads.

There are quite a few really attractive cars on this thread... but the E38 Alpina B7 5.7 some pages back wins this whole thread. I want one very badly indeed. Too bad there are only two in the country!

I think you mean the E38 Alpina B12 5.7 L (lwb) of which only two were delivered to the UK in rhd.

There are also eight rhd swb B12 5.7 cars, as well as six rhd swb B12 6.0 cars and a single rhd lwb B12 6.0 which was imported from Japan a few years ago.

They do take a bit of finding though.....

Whoops, I stand corrected. Whatever - anything Alpina with a V12 is very, deeply desirable, and the E38 has a mystical aura even in "normal" form, so an Alpina V12 E38...
