I do like a touring and its good to see its not the default 2.0d model, I would love a 535i myself, enjoy.
Took me 8 months to find it.Only 3 came up for sale in that period, PHer Jobbo bought the first and the second was a manual - which I don't think suits the car at all.
Every time I see an F11 it reminds me what an utterly miserable month I had in one. Truly wretched, awful car, and no, that wasn't all down to the 2-litre diesel engine by any means - the only good things about it were the 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox and the astonishingly powerful windscreen washers. In every other respect, I was enormously relieved to step back to the E39, which is a vastly better car in almost every way.

Different strokes, different folks. This is the best BMW wagon i've had since my E34 540i (and i've had quite a few!).
Bought a bmw m3 e46 ess the other day. Fantastic car producing 500+ bhp. The car is hugely faster than the standard e46 having owned the standard model in previous years. I wanted one which still kept the same standard body as I think the car looks good enough without tampering with it!

I didn't even know that these existed until now. Looks great, lovely colour. I think one of these could be a realistic swap for my 4 series when the time comes; what's the standard spec like on them? The 4 series swayed me with Pro Nav, heated seats etc.patrick80 said:

I've never seen another in this colour. I think I like it.
It is rare I think. Was a car built by BMW as a showroom special for Christmas 2009. As far as I can tell Atlantis Blue wasn't even in the brochure as one if the individual range of special colours. In the flesh it is amazing. Is a little more green / turquoise. More pics below....AB said:

Quick pic after a trip to the 3 quid european car wash. They gave the wheels a right good scrubbing. Best I've seen them since I put them on. I really need to swap over to my winter setup today. I was getting wheel spin in 3rd with moderate throttle and some sliding around wakey wakey moments as well.

Incidentally, why an LS1 swap rather than an M62?
Could be the LS1 makes more power as standard, no doubt consumables and rebuild costs are substantially lower and the range of aftermarket parts is enormous. Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
