I bought this E91 335d a few months ago; it's my first BMW and I have to say I'm really enjoying it. Even the 19s with RFTs aren't as bad as I was expecting! It's hard to make out from the (not too shabby) dealer pics but it's Ruby Black, which is stunning when you catch it in the right light.

Very nice. I like the sombre interior and the seats are so much nicer than many I've seen. (such as Vadar vomit ) I think I prefer it with wheels though.

I always loved the look of the vadars but they seem to be universally hated when sat in. Yea thought I'd try the 'up on bricks' look but prefer it with wheels too biggrin

The interior on this one is lovely, can't really see how an interior could be much more comfortable at any price point, not that I'm jumping in and out of Bentleys all day

XK120FHC, I've just found this on another thread... are you and mbrown5 the same person? Both accounts curiously have done 193 posts over 87 months...

I bought one just over a year ago and would highly recommend it. I’ve not had any problems with it at all, I think if you choose a car based on other peoples horror stories you’d never buy any car. Has every other BMW engine ever made been 100% reliable??? I’m sure the cracked cylinder linings don’t affect all 2600 cars made.

Before this car I had an E46 330ci and yes it was quite a bit quicker in a straight line (to be expected) and was a better motorway cruiser, but I much prefer my ‘Si. It feels brilliant through the corners, on a twisty B road the handling is superb, I think it’s mostly down to the whole car weighing less.
The BBS alloys look pretty good too.

Had this B5 BiTurbo for about 9 months now. Upgraded from the E60 B5. Done 5000 miles in it and still barely run it at 12000 miles.

Just taken this new-to-me E46 M3. It's a bit generic as PH cars go, but I had a Z4 M before and enjoyed that thoroughly. This car had to serve more practical duties though. Really enjoying it so far, has a few miles and owners on it but they have clearly looked after it.

More pictures will come when we have a half-nice day for me to get her properly washed etc

Saw an M4 in the same colour yesterday. Despite the disastrous styling, the paintwork really stood out - what is it called?

Laguna Seca and the M4 wasn't unless it had been specially commissioned through individual manufaktur, it was more probably Yas Marina.

Yes the e46 is Laguna Seca (Smurf blue as it was nicked named) the M4 likely wasn't, as I said it would have been Yas Marina.
