Correct - my car is Laguna Seca Blue. It's one of these colours that is basically impossible to capture accurately. I'm tempted to pull my video camera out and see if that'll show it better as it has far superior colour rendition to my stills cameras or phone.
I had an E46 Clubsport in Estoril Blue previously and I had to go see this in the flesh to see if I liked it or not, and I really do. It gets a lot of comments on the colour. I'm tempted to spray a bit of the interior trim in LSB too as it's a bit drab inside presently.

Afternoon all!
I thought i'd post a couple of pictures and a description of my BMW F31 touring, i've had it since October 2015. Its a 318D Msport with Style 403M wheels.
Surprisingly it does go rather well, my previous BMW was a E90 320D M Sport. the comparison between the two is not much, my new one is slightly slower to 60mph but i'm pretty happy with it.
As for the differences between the two cars the E90 was great but the F31 is obviously newer and there is some difference's. The E90 was nice but without i Drive and nav etc... so far with The F31 i'm getting on with it quite well.
My main reason for changing is that i wanted a dog and not having room in the E90 for a lurcher, the F31 was a good choice. The F31 handles very well and the ride is very good (it currently runs Bridgestone Potenzas (Run Flats) they have come on lots since i first had them on my E90. but once they are up for a change i may go conventional.... we'll see.
Anyway now for some pics:

I switched my F30 M sport from the same 19 inch wheels with Bridgestone run flats to 17 inch with go flat winter tyres and the difference was unbelievable.Comments welcome

I'm sorry that it's ONLY and 318d m sport, attitudes like yours is what makes most people not like Bmw drivers, at the end of the day I did not want to spend stupid amounts of money on insurance and tax, it looks the part granted not the quickest, but I'm happy, after all I bought the damm thing. So your comments my friend are about as productive or useful as a chocolate t pot. My passion is Bmw and I do have a large amount of knowledge. But if you don't like it stick you comments up your ar53.

So what is it your drive....??

Thanks mate, yea my last was sapphire black, lovely colour but a pain to keep looking good! Silver is a nice colour it shows the lines and m sport kit off well! Thanks for your kind comments mate.Ben

I drove one of these a few years ago, I went in it to lemans with my mate, it went like the clappers. Really nice place to be and surprisingly roomy even with a weeks worth of camping gear. Not too many about either so rare (ish)

I have E39s - 535i and 520i Touring. Both SE, not M Sport. Would never even consider buying a diesel and neither should anyone else with more than half a brain. An F31 318d M Sport just goes to show how comprehensively BMW has lost the plot. M Sport badges and 'sporty' hard suspension combined with a smoky, agricultural powerplant that couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding or even make a pleasing sound (or absence thereof) while not making tremendous progress.

The thing is, this actually matters. BMW used to stand for something. RWD, N/A, 'the ultimate driving machine', supple-riding, sweet-handling cars which skipped bangerdom and headed straight from newish to youngtimer classic. Not any more. They're slapping M badges all over very ordinary cars and fitting them with carcinogen-spewing tractor engines. This is not the BMW I grew to know and love.

There's obviously a few of us who have slightly different requirements in cars than you.
I wouldn't want to do my daily driving in any of your cars or any of mine other than the comfortable diesel.

Can it not stand for more than one thing? Yes they will always make the exciting RWD M cars, but these days to financially enable them to do this they need to sell at the popular end of the market, they're only really doing what Porsche do with SUVs and the Panamera. Also their 2 largest competitors make equivalent cars, so they would massively miss out on market share if they didn't do likewise. Yes my car is a 'caricinogen-spewing tractor' but (as most others do) my car policy at work dictates that. Of course I'd love a 340i but it'.s just not practical in this day and age. I'd just rather have a 'carcinogen-spewing tractor' that is good to drive and is a nice place to while away 35K a year. TBH BMW started selling diesels in the '80s this isn't exactly a new thing. I for one am glad BMW, Audi and Merc produce a 2.0d car it means that people in jobs like mine don't have to drive a Ford or a Vauxhall anymore if we choose.
To be honest your 'jumpers for goalposts' mentality is a very romanticised notion of what BMW ever was, they have always produced cars such as the 525e which were squarely aimed more at the business market.
