Just bought this lovely runabout.

So glad to be back in a BMW.
Wonder if the car wash is aware their sign is spelt wrong....not the professional look they were aiming for I guess.

Nice car though wink

Thanks, I'm well pleased with it. I bought the car from the car wash owner, I'll let him know.

Just picked up a very clean 120d SE as a runaround. A 2007 car with FBMWSH including a main dealer service and MOT last week and a couple of new Bridgestones all courtesy of the seller. 9 years old with 78000 miles on the clock, it drives like a car with half the miles on. To be fair, I'm sure it'll feel as tidy at 140k.

Very pleased with this....

Is it the 163PS or 177PS version? Probably a good idea to get the timing chain checked, it's a known weak point of the N47 engine, especially the later version.

Hi Richard, this is the later 177PS version. Thanks for the tip. I'll check through the service invoices to see of this has been done. Do you when this is scheduled for inspection?

Thanks beer

Dom H

PS. Might have another look at the BMW Mondial drive-train warranty.

Nice car, although I have an irrational dislike of those coloured grill slats.

I think he misquoted. Probably meant the E46 above.

funnily enough, i actually got rid of the coloured grille slats..
i still have the original chrome ones, but i personally like the black grille against the colour of the car.

each to their own i suppose smile

Didn't know where to post this question so hope this is ok.
Looking for BMW 850 csi, reg. no. GJI 2018, wide-bodied, last seen was a lime green colour, apparently now standing somewhere untaxed with just expired MOT.
Hopefully someone might know where it is.
I'll add mobile no. if allowed.
Thanks.
