Show Me Your BMW!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
I did a thing with my M3 some months back, and I recently compiled the footage into another thing.

Just a thought but get some Autosol and polish your tips!
Then definitely get onto the Z4Forum!

What tyres are you running ? I enjoy mine apart from the tramlining - 40K and still got it's runflats (not for long though).
Lovely looking E86 you have there - but then they all E86s look great IMHO! Edited by Barmyfluid on Monday 23 January 23:58
I'm still on Bridgestone RFTs, which aren't the best TBH! Will be exploring other options soon as they will need replacing. Torn between newer generation RFTs and some non-RFTs - still debating which to go for!
On the tramlining front in my experience it seems to get worse as the front tyres wear, and gets much worse if the pressures drop - even by just a bit.
Plus the condition of the bushes in the front suspension has a huge influence (especially as most of these cars are around 10 years old now)!
Had the "lollipops" changed on my first E86 which helped no end, but my current one still drives much better (sadly I don't have full details of what has been done to it).
Many owners reckon having bushes, etc. checked and replaced as required then a Hunter alignment transforms the car.
And in response to an earlier post, the 5 spoke split-rims were a Z4 fitment only AFAIK - E86 Sport models were only offered with 108M (the split-rims) or 135M wheels (AKA MV2s as fitted to Sport model E46s) as standard.
From what I have read CSLs were never an OEM option and genuine ones need some fettling to fit, although there are CSL replicas that work OK (although some are of dubious quality).
