That looks superb; great colour too cool

I've got the 18" 405Ms as my summer wheels with Goodyear Assym6s and they were the best thing I did to my F31 - they're forged, so c9kg a corner and you can really notice the difference too (my current winters are 397s and they're nearly 15kg a corner)!

Get a thread going in the Readers Cars section wink
Thanks the colour was another thing which swayed my from a touring.. got a roof rack instead. Ok a set of 18’s 405 are on the shopping list. Will have to wait now as just got new rubber. Not sure I’ll keep enough updates to warrant a thread in readers cars! smile
Ah get a thread going; everyone loves pics smile

And your 20" 405Ms will sell easy enough; more so with premium tyres

18" 405Ms really work well on our UK roads; non RFTs too - perfect combo:

I’m a gluten for punishment…

My 335i (probably posted on here already)

And my wife’s manual 330i

Ironically, it’s the N52 powered 330i that seems to cause me more issues than my N54 powered 335i. laugh

Don't say that Sam...because I've always regretted not going for a 335i instead of the 330i years ago as it is! hehe

Thanks, I've liked the F11 shape for a long time, had a couple E91s and an F31 before this. Had a 2017 Audi S4 Avant just before this so I'm down considerably on power now but I'm liking it so far.

Just did a 520 mile round trip from North West to South East and was surprised how comfortable the car is, even in M Sport guise.

Same; it was an F11 530D M Sport I wanted to go for; there was one across the border in Yorkshire that I was going to see but we went and saw our F31 a few days before and TBH; I'm really glad I went for it, it's a superb car

My next car will be a G31 540i though I hope; a few years off yet (getting rid of the mortgage is the priority apparently) biggrin

Yes, yes, the grill etc.

I don't care. I love it.

I've never experienced a car that makes you feel like you're cocooned / in a bubble like this.

Even better as the rear passenger.

It is quite big though...

Absolutely lovely!

Had a sit in an i7 at Bowker BMW just before Christmas whist collecting my F31 after it's MOT - what a car and amazing inside. The right sized car for someone of my build biggrin

Enjoy!

Not an i7 but an older Seven Series - I took this out for a spin today while I was shuffling cars around the driveway...

Absolutely stunning cool

You know it'll be the most iconic 7 series shape there has been...

I know almost every subsequent top Seven Series will be faster but I don't think any look as good as an E38, or might sound as a good as an Alpina V12.

Agree

That flat smooth line of the car that goes from nose to tail; no other 7 series looks that way. The side profile is unmistakable and the best BMW ever came up with

I'd love another E38; it was a great way to get into my BMW ownership

That is class.

Just what my dad wanted but had to settle for a lesser version. Same interior combo but green exterior. Fab car.

My 550i passed its MOT - after a couple of attempts - so I treated it to a wash. 19 years old now and almost into classic territory. It actually looks quite good when it's all wet like this. It's not quite as pretty when all that shine has dried off.
