After previously owning an N53 engined 6 series, I've scratched an old itch of owning a convertible. A very late 06 e46 convertible.

No rust and very clean, had it about a year already which is long term ownership for me. Nice change being a manual aswell.

I just found some pics of previously owned Bimmas, some dating back to the mid 2000s, I'll start with my first....an E36 325i Coupe bought from a guy in Belfast in the morning and by the evening it was back in London after a blast down from Stranraer.

I covered about 35k miles in this one, bought a chip on eBay which gave it a nice little boost smile

Next up was an e36 M3 Evo in Techno Violet. It had ivory leather Vadar seats and it went like stink. Very tail happy in the wet when you took the traction control off but it was such an amazing all rounder.

Great memories of this motor, a trip to Le Mans for the 24hr race and another road trip through Germany, Switzerland and Italy, it just wanted to be driven hard all the time, not suited to the British motorways!

When the Evo had long gone I had the urge for an e34 535i Sport (Manual) one day and this one popped up in Newcastle for peanuts so I jumped on it. A lovely black leather Recaro interior and a full set of genuine Alpina alloys.

Unfortunately this beast was written off as it ended up in a hedge after 2 joy riders (side by side) were driving straight at me on a country road one night. That was the end off the e34.

After jumping to the dark side for the next few years (and Audi S6 Avant and an Audi RS2) I couldn't help the magnetism and ended up indulging in an absolutely mint e60 550i Manual with super low mileage

This one was owned by BMW as their demonstrator for years and had every extra on there. Kept it for 5 years but in the end the pull of the e61 550i was too much and it had to go.

Spent some time giving the convertibles some attention this afternoon.

Nearly 20 years old and still looks fantastic IMO.

Both lovely cars. Really like that shade of orange on the Bentley.

My X3 3.0d M Sport, I've had it since late May. Approx 41,000 miles on it and in minty mint condition with many bells and whistles and options.
PX'd my 120 M Sport for £250 lol. I flipping love it, it's a fantastic car all round and it really does shift when you want it to. smile
