A simple image search for "z4 108" shows that it seems pretty normal. It's emphasised on mine due to it being lowered. So when I said they shouldn't be like that, I didn't mean something was wrong I meant that IMO they shouldn't because it looks turd. Spacers would make it look better.

I'd roll with that.
Lowered suspension and angle of picture I'd say.
Spacers for "perfect stance" sort of thing.
My SAAB is completely standard, and most people would be happy. But for my taste the wheels should be further out....... Probably another 5mm-10mm

Hi Guys, just joined, my name's Lewy and I'm an admin on BMWEnthusiasts.co.uk Currently driving a 2004 E64 645ci Convertible although looking to sell up shortly and try a Z3 2.8 V8 conversion! Could be interesting Really looking forward to getting stuck in here and I'm sure that our BMW Enthusiasts site can support various PH meets along the way

Has the shadowline gloss around windows which would have been rare at the time, but doesnt date the car as much as chrome might. MV2's have been fitted at some point, and all the lenses have been upgraded to clear ones. The rear lights have been upgraded to the later LED (?) type off 2005 / 2006 cars. Overall it hides its age well. The only other thing we're doing is changing the head unit to a CD player - got one today out of an 05 m3 for it. She bought from www.a2bmotors.com who dont offer repayment terms.

Do us a favour, ensure you can afford to run it... otherwise you'll be adding to the long list of f ked up 8's.

People are lured in by the amazing attraction and cheap purchase costs (£5k will buy you a good'n)... only to then realise you need £5k p.a. to run one (or a very good connection with a used BMW parts supplier/breaker)!

Yep, they are not cheap to run, they were very technologically advanced for their time and subsequently if they're not looked after properly and kept properly maintained they'll seriously hurt your wallet.
