Cold air feed problem?!?!?

i run a e30 320i and have fitted a cone filter and want to fit a cold air feed but cant find a suitable place and not sure if there actually worth it. has any one fitted one before if so were did you feed it from??

also cosidering going back to standard air box with k&n panel filter as im sat in traffic on my journey home and it can sometimes start to run a little hot which i no is not good!
