10 Miles of 70mph @ c. 1600 RPM from my Jan 05 build 535d M Sport Touring (131,000 miles)

Got too boring to do any more than that !

highly impressed with mileage of your car! what niggles if any have you had along the way with the car and how many miles did the car have when you got it? has the car "aged" well? also how often do you change the oil. do you wait for the service indicator light to come on or do you change oil more frequentyl>

It really is the ultimate real world car. Great performance, good efficiency, practical & looks good.

Do you have the Business Nav or is it Pro but as you have other info on your idrive does it shrink the Nav until you have finished with the screen?
Well if you think it's so good (and it is) why don't you buy one?? Or change your user name to Tyrekicker. It's posts like yours that make me eternally grateful I don't flog cars for a living.
There ... feel better now

welshbeef says:
/If I were to buy one of the 272bhp Sports from BMW AUC and say it was up for £20k how much less should I big in the current climate? Would it be sensible to go in maybe £3k or even £4k under asking price then walk out and see if they call me back with a counter offer?/

Welshbeef dear-heart,
Even if you offered 3 or 4 grand OVER asking, they STILL aren't going to call you back. They're just going to slowly shake their heads, loosely close their hands while making that very eloquent wrist-movement with which you are so clearly very familiar then briskly scoot across to the showroom door to get the bolts on and closed sign up in case you manage to get back in again.

So you've registered to submit three posts (two of them identical) having a pop at Welshbeef?

Pourquoi?

What's your, er, beef with him?

Rien, mon brave. (and thanks for drawing my attention to my inadvertant double submission)
However...Wasn't it you who got a little strident with him regarding his touchingly demented theory on scrapping cars at ten years old? Didn't you also find it necessary to qualify your somewhat rococo suggestions as to the users of Facebook (whaterer that may be) by pointing out that your intention had been to amuse despite the distinct whiff of vitriol detectable from where I was sitting.
And yes, seeing as you asked, I did sign-up "to have a pop" at Welshbeef but in the belief that if he isn't playing Devil's Advocate (which I'm fairly sure he is) then he is almost certainly certifiable.Pray tell, why did YOU sign-up? By the way,how are "the little blue lights under the door-handles" you said are your "favourite aspect" of the 130? Your move.

Did the original poster ever get one of these cars?

Just seen another thread answering my question.

Pity the poor person who has a visit from a beefy welshman with a view to selling their car!
