CDV - changed the clutch delay valve for smoother high rev changes
I'm interested in doing this on my 130 - did you source the parts from the US?

Sounds very much like that, yes. Rather like an E46 M3.

I have one on my 135i, dealer supplied & fitted it for £500 when I bought my car

Its a really good noise that the car makes, really deep and as you accelerate it its awesome

apart from the badge, boot spoiler, ride height, massive brakes etc

most 1 series run smaller wheels and it looks much better as a shape on 18's

And the absence of front fog-lights too smile

True, hadnt recalled the removal of fog lights.

When I bought the 135i, I took extended back to back test drives in the 123d and 135i and the difference was staggering given the press thats been recieved by the 123d.

When i parked them up they look very different also - ultimately it was an easy decision to take the petrol one.

two very different engines, with over 100bhp difference, of course they would be miles apart.

The press reviews were on how good the 123d engine is - its exceptional given its combo or power, economy, torque, co2, etc.
