Hi
My bluetooth phone connection has recently stopped working in my 530D.The phone displays connected then disconnected alternating every 30 secs or so. I have tried other mobile phones and none will operate and checked that the settings stored by the car are correct.
Any ideas please?

Did you delete all messages from all mailboxes (sent items, etc.)?
Even if your phone doesn't support sending SMS over Bluetooth to the display, it tries to do some sort of synchronization and gives up when there are too many messages. Similarly, do you have a large number of contacts in your address book?
This was the cause of the connexion and disconnexion every 30 seconds on my wife's E46.
