fitting roof bars to the 530d E39 , can it done and where?

Hi, the E39 530D I´m looking at buying doesn´t have the roof bars , can they be fitted? How and where and at what cost can it be done. To be honest think it looks a bit naked without them.

Not all trim levels have them.
