Where are E46 Prices at the moment?

All the guides seem a little out - prices on adverts go from the realistic to the crazy, so, and EVERY advert is just sitting there (I track the interesting ones in my favorites).

has anyone bought or sold an E46 330 recently and what price did you get?

I'm thinking of trading in the Z3 in the new year for a 330ci

A month ago I picked up a 2001 330ci. 75k on the clock, one owner from new, FBMWSH and every option, sat nav, Harman Kardon, sports package, etc. It's mint and I paid 6.5k. The book price is something stupid like 8.5k. It's a buyers market

Probably irrelevant, but a mate just picked up a 53 325Ci Sport (facelift - with the LED rear lights) with 90k for £6,300.

Bargains everywhere you look at the moment. Plenty of 330i's about.

£7,500 which i thought was brill.

A mate bought his 330Ci Sport 6 months ago for 8k. He can't sell it now even at 7k.
Looking around 323Ci Autos, i'd struggle to get £3500 for mine I reckon were I to sell it at the moment. It was a bargain at £5k in January!
At the same time I was looking, 330Ci Sports started at just under 10k. Less than a year ago...
