Tracking Problem (1996 3 series touring)
Discussion
Can anyone out there shed some light on the problem I've got.
The car when you drive it wants to pull to the left all the time.(you have to keep the steering wheel to the right)
It's been 4 wheel aligned , still does it.Been underneath the car cannot see any problems, any movement. Also the back end on the right hand side sits slightly lower, but the spring is fine. Thanks

My E36 touring sits a bit like that despite new springs, apparently it was for LHD markets so that the car levels out with just a driver on board.
Is there any evidence of the spring's coils having touched? They can sag over time, maybe one has gone more than the other if the car was more heavily loaded on one side than the other. They're only £30 odd each from GSF and a very simple DIY change. Might be an idea if they haven't been changed for a for years.
