Hating BMW Drivers...advice please
Discussion
Hating BMW drivers is so 2007. Hating Audi drivers is all the rage at the moment.
Although i generally hate the idiots who undertake at speed on the M25, idiots in white vans who pull out with out indicating doing about 50mph.
Lorries over taking each other on a duel carrigeway going up hill ffs.
Mondeo drivers.
Idiot drivers.

I think you should find yourself a more worthwhile problem to ponder.
(in other words, using the vernacular: Get a life!)
I ponder whichever problem comes to mind at the moment. Today its " which BMW drivers to hate" tomorrow it maybe "why people reply to threads they have no interest in" (i just assume they are looking for freinds)(in other words, using the vernacular: Get a life!)

I think BMW drivers have become a bit of a soft target. I think what you're trying to get at is 'drivers with a superiority complex who drive like cocks because they think by virtue of the badge on their car, they own the road and have something to prove'.
Base-model BMWs with M-badging are prime examples, as are drivers of S-line Audis, people who've stuck AMG badges to base-model Mercs, people who put VXR badges on bog-standard Vauxhalls, RS/ST badges on ordinary Fords, GTI badges on boggo VWs, those aesthetic vandals who put big wings on Alfa Romeos - et cetera. It takes a certain mindset.
I think some Audi drivers are worse as Audi specifically cater for them with 'S-Line', the chance for reps in diesel-powered A4s to make people think they've got an RS4 without having to actually do the embarassing deed and put the badges on themselves. That is, so far as I can tell, the reason for Clarkson's anti-Audi ire.
That said, anyone who drives around in something pretending to be more impressive than it is is a prive prick in my book. Everything from the mythical council estate favourite the BMW M318i to Toyota MR2s bodykitted up as Ferrari F355s.
