E46 iPod. Denison?
Discussion
Yes, I've recently had a gateway 100 fitted to mine. I'm pleased with it so far.

Have you got a the sat-nav/tv in your car? I went the Alpine KCA-420i/Intravee route to fully retain the OEM look/functionality of the OBC. The iPOD full menus (except album art) appear on the screen and all the gubbins are hidden away neatly in the boot compartment.
The 420i is a bit slow to buffer all the iPOD content, but control is very good and on screen it looks great (sound is good too of course).

I've had a quote of £120 for a Connects2 supplied and fitted. Does anyone know anything about Connects2 compared with the Denison unit?
The chap said that the Denison unit goes through the FM radio and therefore the ipod will be affected by poor reception etc.
Can anyone shed any light?
PS. I've changed my username, I'm the OP.

There is a Dension unit that goes via FM, but that's not what you want...
If you have the standard Business headunit with a one line display, the Dension Gateway 100 is hardwired, it just replaces the CD changer connections.
If you've got a SatNav or TV headunit, you probably need to look at the Intravee instead.
Have a Connects 2 in my other car, it's not as good as the Denison as all you can really do is plug the thing in and let it shuffle away, although that's all I usually ever do with my ipod when driving.
The Denison unit I have is hardwired (see above pic) and you can access playlists, and the music menu via the headunit/steering wheen buttons.
No idea regarding Satnav systems as I only have a standard Business headunit.
