I have a few questions and wondered if anyone could help.

1. Does the m3 style steering wheel from a e46 fit the e36?

2. Does anyone know where to get bmw centre caps to fit non-stnadard alloys 18" FOX RS?

3. The lights on my central unit have stoped working any ideas + prices on fixing?

Thanks Mike

Cant help you on point 2 or 3 but over on e36coupe.com a couple of people have swapped over their e36 wheel for an e46 M3 csl one but it involved a bit of modifying if I remember rightly. Head over and do a search.

Its a tidy looking upgrade so is well worth the effort IMO.

It can be made to fit but IMO more hassle than it is worth

You can order the badges from the dealer for pennies. Do you know if the centre caps on the Fox wheels are the same size as OEM?

Do you mean the climate control unit? If so, it is either the final stage resistor or a capacitor (can't remember which, sorry). Either way, there used to be loads of people on Ebay offering a repair service for around £30

Thanks Mike

1) as above. I've done it with an e46 wheel but there is a lot of crazy mods, and you loose the airbag

2)you'll need to measure the ones you have, or find someone selling some on ebay and find out the size they are, then check out the people on ebay selling the BMW ones for BMW alloys, and you'll fond out the size of BMW caps

3) There are little bulbs behind most lit BMW bits, so it could be them. A few bits use LEDs, which rarely have problems, but all lights dying at the same time might mean an electrical problem.

2 of the 3 lights in the OBC had died in my wife's 328 when we bought it.

I got new bulbs directly from BMW as they were the only place with them in stock ! PM me if you need basic instructions on how to do it - it's a 5 minute job that requires no tools ! smile
