get a removeable tow bar fitted and a pendle towball rack. No bodywork molestation. Any strap on is going to give you chaffing laugh

I'm using one of these;

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/Saris_Bones_RS_3...

They are fully adjustable and Saris have the settings on their website for the 6.

still touching the paintwork, and you need a trailer board as lights and plate are obscured. Nice rack though.

When it's mounted the plate is clear and the lights can be seen fine.

Not kidding anyone, however if you ride a penny farthing then it may be a problem.

When it's mounted on a 6 the bike mount part is angled up so the bikes do not obstruct like they would in the picture on the web.

Roger,

This would be going on an M6... would the different rear bumper be an issue?

Don't suupose you have a piccie of it on your car do you? Would be good to see how it fits.

Not too bothered about it touching the paintwork as I have some helicopter tape which will protect the paint nicely if only a small area

Oh... and thanks for you help :-) Looks like the perfect answer.
