BLEEP WHEN UNLOCKING

Hi all, I wonder if someone out there has the answer to my question as its driving me nuts. bought a new 530D in sept. of last year. Only during last couple of days when I unlock the car with the remote - the car makes a bleep sound. Can anyone tell my why...? Have looked thro the manual - but nothing.

I think this is something that can be programmed by the dealer, certainly can on the Z4 - cant see how you would do it by accident though!?

Maybe battery in remote low? No ideas if Im honest.
