Sorry to butt in on this thread but thinking about a 1995 740i lwb near to me.156k,no mot and just from looking briefly at car without owner there needs discs,one low profile tyre(20 inch alloys!)battery(says its dead as sat for ages)rear lower ball joint/bush,rear arches are buggered just at the lips,and he says pixels missing on dash(good video fix on youtube)
Its black leather interior and finished in a black metallic,car 'looks' cool as hell.He wants a grand but was thinking nearer 750-800??Considering it might need more once i get really poking about.Anyone give me better idea of what would be a fair price?Thanks.

Before offering anything, I would check that the fuel tank is not leaking, that is very common on older ones and would be an £800 job on it's own. Brave pills may be required!
