RE: BMW One Series
Discussion
Clearly a desperate attempt at heading off Alfa 147 sales. I think it looks like a cut and shut job using the body and rear of a 147 and the front end of one of those nasty Jag X Type Mondeo things . Surely it also competes with BMW's own Mini too? If I was after a Eurobox I'd take the Mini every time...
Hyundai Getz rip off!
(and the engineering was ripped off from the Rover R45 project, if my spies tell me correctly!)

Don't be so fast to condemn this car - it does look different, but we seem to be jumping on the "let's kick Bangle styling" bandwagen here.
You all seem to forget, BMW is a company that is in business to make money, and to do this it needs to sell cars. You have to look at the car's direct price competition to see it's level - which I guess is the Audi A3 level.

Different indeed. But if that's what sells cars then the Fiat Multipla would be the world's top seller.
But it isn't.... is it.
I'm not jumping on a bandwagon, I've always hated Bungle's designs.
BMW may be in the business of making money, but given it's sliding market share, it's obviously not making a very good job of it.

Oh God!

That is hideous. Crucifixion is too good for Bangle.
Second that!
Looks like an Alfa from the side as mentioned, a little bit of M coupe from the front (3/4) and the back strongly resembles to a Vauxhall Signum (to me).
In one word: HIDEOUS!!!
PS Starting to like the front (ONLY) of the Z4 and the complete 5 series, although I like the old ones much better! (Starting to appreciate the Z3!)
The front door (window in particular)is disproportionately short compared to the overly-long rear one. Combine that with the rear-drive axle positions is why it has the proportions of an Austin A35.
The lower panels are obviously the result of banger racing.
I think the Rover R30 would have looked better.
It is fashionable to knock Bangle. There is a good reason for that.
The car will be bought nevertheless buy people that compensate for their lack of personality and free thinking by attaching labels instead.
