I'm the same got it coming for Xmas as a pressie but see it in Morrisons and couldn't resist. Proud owner of 2 X TT 3D DVDs.
It should do well in the charts.

If my second copy should turn up I pledge to donate it to the thread, I'll even pay for the stamp.

Was it 11.99 for the Blue Ray?

I've got the 3D TV but no Blueray 3D DVD or TT3D.
Does your son have a Blueray PS3? If so it can be upgrade to play 3D

He has an x box, I don't think he's used it for a couple of years.

Went to see the 3D version at the cinema, it was very good. The producers were clearly expecting Guy Martin to win at least one race.

I would say the producers picked someone who was a big character and could keep the audience entertained, don't necessarily think they thought he we win one.

Exactly, they also followed Hutchinson (as well as others) albeit not to the same extent as GM possibly because as much as I like Hutchy he's a bit reserved in the personality dept unlike Guy who not only has in-front of camera experience but also is a much bigger character than just about any other racer and has alot of endearing 'quirks' that make it very easy for the viewer regardless of whether they're a bike fan or not to warm to him.

Overall a brilliant film, pre-ordered mine and receieved it today, thats my Friday night sorted!

I agree totally, it's just I got the impression particularly early on that they thought it was going to be his year and were geared towards capturing it on film. As it turned out Ian Hutchinson remarkably won all the major races yet played only a minor part in the film. Just an observation, not a criticism, of what is a great film. I certainly thought it was better than "Fastest" although I did enjoy that too.

Somebody I know was talking of buying it. I don't think he realised it is actually shown in 3D rolleyes I don't think he has a 3D TV OR Blu-ray & probably no glasses either !!

Can't recall what it looked like at the cinema without the specs. He'll no doubt tell me...

I'll wait for the parrot but he'll be ok as it'll just be perfect 2D Blu-ray I the TV ain't 3D ready so it won't be blurry :P

Yes, whoosh parrot probably milling about somewhere, but the Title Menu gives you the option of watching the Blu-Ray in 2D or 3D.

I got the triple-play (2D+3D Blu-Ray and DVD) pack for £14.99. Well worth it.
