Some people are just late starters. Ignore your mates tall tales of wooing local scutters in a 5* hotel with Piper Heidseik dripping from her nubile body. It'll be a 1 minute wonder over a wheelie bin out the behind the dirty duck pub or a hand shandy by Mavis the dinner lady.

It'll come young padawan, as said Alcohol works, as does confidence to actually talk to them. Failing that, me and Bobski are heading to some brothels in Amsterdam next week if you want to join ushehe

You have to select the correct motorcycle for the job.

A big single will be a little too good and will finish the job for you wink so the young lady will go home happy while you go home frustrated to xhamster or similar.

Twins are good, just the right amount of vibration leaving the young lady wanting more...

Not tried a young lady on the back of the Daytona yet but I think the correct revs will have the same effect as a twin...

IL4 too smooth and will leave you having to start from scratch with a fair chance you'll strike out.

Do not ffs google 'xhamster' as it's seriously NSFW!

I once took may mates cousin out on the back of my zx6, and had told her before hand she'd have to lean into the corners a bit, so as to not unsteady the bike etc.

First roundabout we came to she was hanging off like Mick Doohan in a limbo contest, must have looked funny from behind but wasn't much fun for me, i pretty much had to lean the opposite way to counter balance!!

Apparently the seat was too uncomfortable though.....

Good use of engineering skills to do some empirical work to identify the correct frequency response/engine design?

I can't say much, as the OH is on here, and rides a bike, and it will just get me into trouble.

But in years past, any girls that got onto the back of my bike I found was a 'sure thing', with 100% success rate.
I can pretty much agree to that.

My first experience of a motorcycle was when a friend took me out on the back of his '97 zx6r. It did feel inordinately quick at the time, but probably the biggest impression was the excrutiating pain my groin was subject to from the seat.

Safe to say I didn't put out afterwards.

Ha, mine was a 99, I took my best mate out on the back of mine, hit the bypass (I was 18 btw, and highly stupid) and took it up to an afterwards overly exaggerated speed (71?!), at which point a car pulled out in front of us and scared the bejesus out of him. He had to get someone to pick him up at the garage at the next junction as he was too scared to go home on the bike!!

He's doing his DAS next month!! I like to think I helped in some way! smile

Excluding family and mates' wives, my strike rate is about 50% Well, exactly that actually as the sample size is 2 since I've only been biking since December hehe Both were hot, one is now my gf and the other is one of her best mates who introduced us, so probably good the strike rate is not running at 100%....in fact in this situation I think it would be unattainable.....ethically at least wink Actually, if I'm being completely honest, the gf only came on the bike after we started going out, so doesn't really count biggrin

On a slightly more serious note though, my gf does say she finds it attractive that I ride, and she genuinely enjoys me taking her out on it, so it's def all about finding the right girl.

As for the OP's gift of the gab issue, I can relate to that from a few years ago. I did an Aeronautical Engineering degree from 2001-2005 and in the first 2 years basically fared incredibly poorly due to being terrified of women I liked - note that the ones that were my mates or that I didn't fancy I was absolutely fine with. The last 2 years somewhat made up for it by me being with possibly a more attractive girl than any of my mates had ever been with (some of them were pretty good players). But I can't take credit for that as it was entirely her doing and had she not made the first move I would have never done anything about it. Also worth mentioning that at uni I was quite fat (well, at least certainly not anywhere as in shape as you should be in your lates teens/early 20s).

After uni when I was single again, i went into a downward spiral weight/confidence wise and ended up nearly 18 stone (I'm 5'11"....). Anyway, to cut a long story short about 4.5 years ago I decided for several reasons to lose weight and start running. 8 months later I was nearly 4 stone lighter and had just run a half marathon in 1 hr 50 mins. BUT, even after only a couple of months into that "sorting myself out" regime I was doing far better with the ladies than I ever did at uni, despite probably being the same size or even heavier than I was then. The reason? Confidence. In my head I was kicking ass with my weight issue and it spilled over into other parts of my life too.

Note that I'm not talking about being an arrogant w*nker (although that does work for some girls, but not any of the ones I'd ever really want to be with), just having the confidence to think that there are loads of reasons why someone should like/fancy you, and if they don't its their loss and no reflection on you. I'm trying to persuade my shy 18 yr old cousin of this incidentally. He's 6'2", a rugby player and looks like the Jacob bloke of Twilight. He doesn't quite realise how well set up he is but just lacks a bit of "I don't give a sh*t" confidence, otherwise I'm pretty sure he could have whoever he wanted!

The only other thing you need after confidence IMHO is have interesting experiences to talk about. Weirdly, girls actually do dig you talking about yourself, so long as you don't over egg it and come across as arrogant/cocky. For me it was/is all the traveling I'd done, my random background, different jobs etc. I swear that actually getting out and living life doing things makes you inherently more attractive than someone who just bimbles along and doesn't actively seek out new things.

Anyway, my 2p worth
