Any reason why you did not opt for the bigger mill?

Bigger mill? Ye the pipes on it are loud but soon be replaces with a nice set of vance and Hines pipes for a better cosmetic look

I actually like HD's.
That's nice. lick

Might get one when I'm 50yo.
They also hire them at my local HD dealer. Cheap.

Where did you bring it from?

Did you buy it first?

The larger engine.

I have only ridden the vast HDs (Electras, Road Kings etc) and must say I really enjoy them. That said, I like all bikes!

very nice smile

...one very appealing upside of a Harley, especially in the UK market, is the lack of depreciation...so you can run em a few years and nearly sell for what you paid for it...so long as you dont take it out in the rain too often wink

I went pass 40 a while back and had to scratch the Harley itch too ...well its more a "Davidson" I guess, as its Willy Davidsons design...its the unloved Harley, a water-hog, with a metric engine that had German help ...Vance & Hines Competition pipes help it sound authentic wink

The Iron's are OK.

After the V&H's, it just needs a side mount license plate holder, bobbed rear fender and snorkel lamp, shorter rear shocks, big head lamp, solo seat and a set of Hollywoods...... job done biggrin

So far shopping list starts with a new exhausts the matt black vance and Hines pipes, different air intake yet to fully decide which one, foward mounted foot controls and possible ape hanger bars

Forwards are a must if you're taller than about 5'9/10".

I can't get on with Ape's at all, such an odd feeling to ride a bike with them on.

Regarding Apehangers, well they can work with the Bobber stylee
