Respect is due, well done that man. Agreed he was slowed with traffic, a couple of seconds lost. Must remember this is a road bike on road tyres, amazing.

Interesting to compare that to the published times for manufacturers, here.

Holy moly. Is it particularly impressive that he made that time and never seemed to go over 160mph? Would cars doing that time be going much faster on the "straights" and slower in the bends?

At 5min 12sec , this is insane.

Amazing skill, balls whatever you call it.

Need to lie down now.
Clipping the kerb at 140, felt a twitch in the underpants just watching that.

As others have said, he was held up by traffic in a few places.

I can't even quantify how much awe and respect I have for this man, no room for mistakes there. Fantastic effort, well done.

Superb.

I couldn't stop leaning into the corners with him. It makes me wish I had a bike again.

Likely the other way round, the bike makes up the time in acceleration, but cornering speeds are lower.

Done the 'ring in many cars, always thought the bikers there are brave as hell. What a rush!

Balls to the Jubilee, this is what makes you proud to be British!

Someone buy that man a pint, and get him a wheelbarrow for his nuts.

That guy has got huge amounts of talent and a bigger sense of bravery. I can't even begin to imagine how he carries so much speed through the corners, or even when the bike is doing its best to throw him off he just puts the hammer down again.
