My KTM 990SMT

Around town 38mpg (never get above 4th on the daily commute.

Just done the Le Mans trip and got an average of 43mpg over 950 miles, fully loaded with side panniers, top box and chair, tent etc strapped to the back. therefore having the aerodynamics of a brick. 80-85mph on the motorways.

With out luggage etc, nearer to 50mpg.

CBR600RR i could do my 75 mile each way commute on a tank which is 15l ignoring reserve (3.5l)
so 150 over 3.3 gallons - 45mpg, that's not hanging about but not driving like i'm in a Moto GP

i think in reality i probably got a little more out of it, never hit reserve on that run and had to put slightly less in each day for consecutive runs..

Bike mag, and it was a ZX-10 and 250R that they tested also. (Assuming we read the same article)
Before I get mauled by the dreaded thread resurrection police/holy batmen etc, does anyone know which mag/issue this was in?

Triumph Tiger 1050 19 litre tank, normal tank range of just over 200 miles, the onboard tells me 47mpg frequently, but I don't ride it gently.
That's good to know. My new one will be better than my Speed Four by about 15mpg!

I could get my 955 Daytona down to about 45mpg brim to brim.

With the tuned 1050 engine fitted I've got enough torque/power to run an extra tooth on the front sprocket and I've yet to get it below 50mpg despite having about 10% more bhp and 15% more torque than the 955i.

You lot are not trying hard enough!

The bike was bought as a pure motorway commuter: Rugby-M40-M25-M3-Frimley

for the purpose it's brilliant.

In my defence, I also ride a VTR SP to even mpgs out hehe

My Pan Euro will do 320 miles on a 29L tankful which equates to 50mpg. That's if I ride a bit smoothly, which I often don't whistle so the trip computer is usually hovering around the 44mpg mark.
On a recent trip to Scotland the weather and loose chippings meant it was a very definite 50mpg rolleyes

Jeez, I hadn't realised just how st my R1 was on fuel until I read this thread! The computer says average of 32mpg, I've no idea if this is accurate, what I do know is it's capable of drinking a full tank in under 85 miles if pushed frown

I tend to average around the 50mpg on my mt09 tracer around town, 45mpg on a mad hoon and north of 65 on a cruise.

150 - 160 miles to the tank on my 2005 Hayabusa. I do ride quite fast though...but it's a mix of some quiet roads to work and then traffic riding

I'm with you there. I just commute on my 09 R1 and it manages around 34mpg, so I fill up at 105 miles (due to filling station locations and my pessimistic view on running out). I think I usually put in around 14 litres.

My '08 R1 used to manage 120 miles before I considered fuel.

Around 160 miles to a tank commuting on my SV650, up to 180ish if it's easy fast A/M road riding.

My Lexmoto Venom 125cc

14 litre tank - 1.6 litre reserve

I usually fill up with ~11 litres and achieve ~300 miles which is 124.09MPG - that's pinning the throttle around town

on a longer run I may get more miles ? but i'm not sure as it'll be sat on the redline for mile after mile, anyone else have experience on that

I've been filling up my tuono when I get to 100 miles as the fuel sensor was broken, seem to get about 30mpg which is pretty terrible.

Don't really care when it's as good as it is though. smile
