Now where is that thread I read on here that someone claimed Ducati needed Rossi to win to sell bikes?. whistle
Imagine how many more they would be selling!

smile
Are you waiting for Rossi to win before buying one?.
No, lack of funds is a far more real reason why I haven't...

I've got a 900SS in bits though:

(Yes, I know the carbs are on the wrong way round)

ETA - slightly more finished now.

Good news! I love the way their engines sound! cloud9 Once I get my motorcycle license I think I may have to buy a Hypermotard at some point in the future. Definately not as a first bike proposition, I think it would be far too easy to kill myself on something that powerful starting out.

Lets hope Audi don't sensibilise it like they did with Lambo
Assume you're trolling unless you think these are in any way sensible
Aventador
Reventon
Murcialago SV
gallardo Balboni

Unless you're confusing reliable with sensible
The VW Group have sanitised LambAudi into something that is as dull and uninteresting as the other Audis, the Balboni edition is the closest to the DNA of a true Lamborghini.
As an owner (or previously owned) LP670-4 SV, the only 2WD Diablo 6.0 amongst a few other Lambos' - and an owner of (or previously owned) a number of ducati's (just ordered an 1199S Panigale) - your statement is simply not true.

I love both bikes and cars - and both of these marques in particular having always been blown away when I first saw a Mike Halewood rep as a kid (although top banana goes to a Laverda Jota for me...) - and my first Muira as a 5 year in South London (it looked like a spaceship) - and hope they continue to attract the funding that is required to make these dream toys even better.

Anyway - as long as they are used (and not just cleaned and polished) then that's good for everyone! And one day, I might even be able to ride my bikes in the way that they are meant to be.....better book another track day then!

Awesome cars and bikes mate - and even more kudos for using them as their makers intended
