From Oulton Park, last Wednesday in Inters. Any thoughts or criticism or geeral pisstaking welcome. I need to ask, should I go in Fast or not?

For those thinking of joining us on the end of season TD (thread below), this is a good idea of the track too.

Its my first go with an HD Pro thingy so need to sort out the screen size, but I never claimed to be Quentin Tarantino.

Wondered why you short shift up just before crossing the line?
Just wonder.

I tried a few different things and none of them worked.

The front kept lifting too high for my comfort and was cranked over when needing 4th, so I tried shortshifting. It doesn't really work, but the other option was to head for a concrete wall with the front in the air when needing to change up and I'm not good enough to cope with all that.

Your riding looked really smooth Loon which is the best way to ride on the road or track for us lot.

It really is time you mooved up, yes you will get passed and passed closly at times but that doesn't matter, once they are past its all done and dusted.

Amongst other things, yes biggrin A bit more weight over the front end will keep it down a bit longer, but even on the 250 with only 50-odd ponies, the front goes light at that point

I'm going to book in Fast for both those days at the beginning of Septemebr.

Very controlled, very smooth and way past time you moved up. Nothing to worry about in fast groups and you will see that on the brakes and corner entry there's plenty more to go at.

Completely agree with the short shift onto the start finish straight too, riding with a brain really helps keep it smooth and you certainly didn't loose any time there at all.

I like watching this type of riding, quick, courteous, safe, smooth. Time to take it up a notch now.

What tyres were you on?

Thanks.

Michelin Power Ones, they've done about 4 days now, so possibly due for a change.

Considering you lost the front on that horrible left at Anglesey, I would recommend trying something far stickier in the front at least.

I think I will, although the Anglesey crash was me pushing a bit too hard, 100% my mistake 0% a tyre issue
