I tried ear plugs for the first time on Saturday. I won't be riding without them again. Wind noise is reduced to a minimum and really helps you concentrate, and the drone of the exhaust on motorways no longer gives me buzzing ears afterwards. I had the £2 ones from a well known motorcycle shop, highly recommended!

I find that that putting earplugs suddenly makes my 14 year old bike feel all plush and refined! A placebo maybe, but it makes it feel less cold and wet when I have them in!

byt said: never wear them but ride like an old fart, also I'm half deaf anyway so I've got less to lose. spending most of my time in a workshop full of grinders and drills etc is far louder than the wind in my lid at somewhere near legal speeds So you don't want to protect what little you have left? Deafness is not cool.

I bought/use these (£20 for 200 pairs). Seem to work for me, on a not quiet bike. Bought some of the Noizezz thingys which I thought were utter sh!te.
