Quick question -

Just changed out the pads (front and back), with a different brand of pad, but for the correct bike, however the pads squeak slightly at the front. I think this is because the pads mount a slightly different area of the discs than former ones. How long will they take to stop squeaking and wear in? It's fecking irritating. . .

I changed pads on wife's bike the other week, and they were squeaking. Was really bugging her, despite them working fine.

I took the pads back out and put the copper grease on the sides of pads as well as the back, and ta-da, no more squeaking!
