Hardwearing Knee Sliders

Are you doing a lot of track days?
Yup, one every 6-8 weeks (with the odd race)pozi said:
Yeah I know what you mean, I am also a riding god who wears out knee sliders far too quickly. I now glue three together to make a super thick slider because it is the only way I can be sure they will last long enough to get through a track day session

You rub anything against Tarmac and it'll wear. Even my knob.
I had to get a cover for mine because it naturally drags. Is the OP BN's nemesis or doppelganger or maybe alias ???
The arlen ness ones that came with my suit are mental hard compared to the alpinestars ones on my other suit. They are also quite thick, so have more material to start with.
I wore my alpinestars ones down on the road, but after 18 trackdays, i'm only half worn on the arlen ness ones.

So one set lasts one day?
That's going some.
It's a bit like saying "Does anyone know of a tyre that doesn't wear out as quick?"

These lasted 3 TD'sThat's going some.

Wiz ones were well down after one day!
Some wearing out quicker than others, hence my post for looking harder wearing ones. Just like tyres, some compounds wear better than others....
As for your knob, I'd suggest you keep your skull away from the tarmac then

I used to go through a lot of knee sliders. Tried leather that lasted well, but gripped when you put weight on the knee. The scorch marks looked cool though!
In the end a combination of not putting too much weight on the knee and finding the WIZ plastic sliders that I still use for trackdays today, cured the issue. That and swapping around and turning them upside down, to ensure all the slider got used and worn out.
I don't know of any harder wearing ones than WIZ plastic sliders.
