Get in touch with Marinus at http://www.m-moto.co.uk/If it can be done, he will get you up and running again. He's done a lot of work for me and even came to pick my bike up when I dumped it in a field.

Right I'm back. Taken the sprocket cover off, and the dirt and grime on the bottom of the sprocket is un believable.
I'll clean it all out, what should I do now?

I posted but it didn't work.. Again.. He's got this far he doesn't need to call in a mechanic, just yet. Get some brake cleaner and give the whole lot a bloody good clean out then try and get the pushrod moving, grease it up and play with it till it frees.

Marinus is highly regarded on other forums. I am in West London. Hillingdon. I have e-mailed him to ask for a quote, just in case. Will go outside now, and try this. Cheers.

Ah, gets more involved you'll have to take the clutch cover off to get at the clutch mechanism.
I take it it's a wet clutch, you'll lose some oil. Try and lean it away from you or on the stand it may help to keep the oil in the engine.

Wet clutch? I'm sure I've read using the wrong oil can cause these to slip badly!
You weren't using car oil in the bike were you?
