I had a bit of trouble with the old R1 today. It wouldn't satrt when I went to go out due to a falt battery. My mate nearly had a heart attack pushing me down the street so I got the jump leads out and attached them to my car and the bugger still wouldn't start.
Half a can of WD 40 in the inlet's and it finally started.

Tomorrow the toofiddy shall live! Finished putting her back together after my 'lil off. Engine is rebuilt, squish set, carbs jetted, stuff done. pics will follow.
Sunday, well, it's a brekky run of course. Duh!

New chain and sprockets today. Had to buy a tool. Quite sunburnt.
IF weather fine tomorrow down to Ricky to meet up with the BiL, then off to Reading for the local TOMCC branch's rally/show thingamibob...supposed to be going to Brancaster with my local branch of same on Sunday but we'll see.

Bike collection now deferred until next weekend because the friend who was supposed to give me a lift to the dealer decided to not stop drinking until 5am and won't be in any state to drive for quite some time. Quite annoyed.

Well I've been out for a ride today. Burton on Trent to Scarborough, Whitby, Pickering, Helmsley, York then back to Burton 321 miles.
