Just say five hell Mary's, deep breath stand back and tell yourself how lucky you are to have such a sweet motor.
If you do find out who it was I belive it is legal to kill them! Thanks gorgeous, and I'll be using you as the character reference when my legal slaughter goes to court! X

New scoot spent the day being neglected yesterday, but took her shopping this morning (the shopping came back in the car with himself), had a good ride, apart from a hiccup with a cyclist and then a woman that pulled into my path. Got a few nods from some other bikers though, which was nice. Spent some time today familiarising myself with the route to work (himself wants to make sure that I am in the right lanes on the motorway and such like, nice that he worries about me ) He's just taken her out for a spin, then I am taking her out again later, just while I get myself used to the throttle and the brakes (as Friday was the very time she had been ridden and I had ridden her), although she is handling really nice, and even when hitting 40 (on the 40 roads!) she still has a lot left, managed to get her upto 60 without thinking about it on Friday (that happened way to easy!)

Not sure to be honest, she was full when we got her, which apparently is 6 litres, there are 60 miles on the clock, 5 of them were there before we got her, and we have 8 out of 9 notches left on the fuel gauge, so the 60 miles haven't used much so far. Will have a better idea when she is run in properly and doing proper journeys and not just me pottering up and down the road to work (even though that was what she is meant to be for!). The book says between 100 and 130mpg.

Weather got better, so I went out for a ride. Found some deserted car park (With 1 car in.. probably dogging), next to some woods and took pictures.

Currently enjoying the 2 hour lunchbreak (aaaah the French!) and some couple are getting married on circuit. Smart suit, huge dress et Le Gixxer! Jon.....just received an e-mail from my mate who did the Le Mans trackdays, which included a photo of him in a french hospital bed. He crashed at Portimao as well In fact out of all the trackdays we've ever done together, he's only managed to get through one unscathed. Tit.

Knocked himself out, broken ribs, broken shoulder blade and a haemotoma in his chest cavity I don't think he has much of a bike left

Yeah, he crashed a few corners after I passed him in Portugal, I gave him a wave next time around.
Hope he gets back home soon, tell him to give the bikes up, I don't think he's cut out for it.

He hasn't raced at club level, but races every time he's on track...if that makes sense. He has a clock ticking in his head all the time. He needs to relax and enjoy the trackday or do a couple of races to get it out of his system

I was going to say the same tbh, but assumed she meant Dual Carriageways.

I know, I meant the roundabout near the motorway to make sure I didn't end up where I wasn't supposed to be, I have no idea why I typed the wrong word. Probably because the are two roundabouts, with the road between them going over the top of the motorway, (for anyone that knows the area, I am talking about the roundabouts at junction 10 of the M65.)

Knocked himself out, broken ribs, broken shoulder blade and a haemotoma in his chest cavity I don't think he has much of a bike left A-ha! The black R6 then. I do remember his get-off at Portimao (at the fast last corner). He wasn't in my group at Le Mans but I heard he crashed on the back straight enetering the little flick flack (think Simoncelli knocking off Pedrosa corner). I heard he dropped it entering it which would be 130 / 140 fast but he could have crashed actually in the corner 80-ish. As ever its not really the speed but how you roll and what stops you. ACO chap was quite concerned about him due to the internal injuries. The chap with the pair of 749's knew him and was making sure he was sorted. Hopefully he bought the medical expenses and re-pat insurance. Bike is mostly in one piece. NRC genny cover (stunning things) has worn the lettering off and its done the handlebar and rearset on left hand side and scuffed the bodywork a bit.

Yeah, he had the full insurance and is now home. Gonna give him a call shortly to rip the piss out of him. The guy with the 749's was at Portimao as well...I think he managed about 4 sessions in all as he preferred to polish his bikes. Ducati owners huh I think I need to have a bit of a chat with him He did say he couldn't give a toss about the bike after that spill, he reckoned 110-120 when he came off. I must dig out that photo of his bike disintegrating at Jerez

I must dig out that photo of his bike disintegrating at Jerez Ducati bloke is a nice bloke and he is permanently on these trips - his pension arrangements clearly better than mine (which don't exist!). He managed a few more sessions this time. Bizzarely in the 2 hour lunchbreaks we had a number of local weddings finish off proceedings on the circuit. You can flick through the circuit's cameras on the TV's inside the pits so stopped watching the Olympics for a bit and watched one wedding party on TV arranging GSX-R's etc for the photographer under the Dunlop Bridge when another wedding party (c/w much plumper bride!) wandered into pits for some photos. They chose to sit on one of mateys 749's in next door pit. That's possibly the aforementioned black R6 in the background about an hour before being lobbed into the scenery!
