It took me a few seconds to realise that was his femur, not his knee. Still, that'll heal better than a knackered knee will.

Fair play, the online part of the motorcycle world isn't brilliant at the moment. I guess the question is, is the market there given the current age, and seemingly ever increasing age of the average motorcyclist.

He may well be quick but he's nowhere near as awesome as me.

Yes - but it won't come from somebody who understands getting a bike round a corner quickly ....

Is he falling-off, in that pic?
No but for a man with a dodgy pelvis it hurts to even look at that.

Here are some of the people i met on the TT trip. Sorry its taken so long to get this out to you guys but it was a bit of a nightmare to edit. Please enjoy these verbal offerings from the internets.
Loads of requests for the riders names. I didnt put them in because i wanted them to appear on the same level as the fans and the other people who are part of the event.

BMW S1000RR HP4 - an Every Day Bike?
Can this hyper bike make a good daily ride if you have the cash?

I haven't watched the video but I'm going to guess it's a "yes" - as far as I know the HP4 is just the same engine and mapping as the standard S1000RR but with the fancy suspesion. Baron did like the S1000RR but didn't bond with it as it was "too competent" - I'd say you can't have too much competence in an every day bike.

I haven't watched either lol (watch it on a big screen when I get back), I'm going to assume no because he's had an s1000r before and it's too clinical.

I'd say you can. Riding to work is boring and sometimes the inner child within wants some more excitement.....

The S1000RR is super amazing at everything, when ignoring how rapid it is, it might become boring like a Fireblade when ridden on a DAILY basis. Bit like having lobster or your favourite meal/drink, if you have it every day, it loses its appeal and becomes the norm.

For the Track, the S1000RR is perfect.

Like he explained briefly, to go fast around a track would be much easier to do on a S1000RR than a Ducati or Aprilia which requires a different riding style.

For commuting, I'd rather have a TL1000S or something similar, something fun and quirky or naked V-twin with 150+bhp at the wheel.

Proper London filtering that is, both Baron and RJ filter "aggressively" shall we say biggrin You'd never ride like that in any other city though, it's just a London thing. Must be due to the amount of bikes in the capital, you can get a way with that stuff as drivers are more used to bikes.
