the noise limit with No limits says 98db.

WOW that's low. I have many things booked from weddings to a big op at the start of Oct Due 2nd oct. So only have a few days i can do my last track day.

Anyone done Mallory on the weekend and how strict are they with noise.

I have a Yoshi R77 with no baffles but I can add baffle but still unsure how loud the can is,

Also was thinking of taking the family up on the Fri night, camping with the family an a few friends. Whats the camping like there? close to the paddocks?

Main issue stopping me booking this Monday is the noise issues

Any info or help on this?

Other dates I can do are Donny Noisy day on the 20th Sept but a weekend would be preferred.

I read that 15 failed noise testing recently with this new limit. I believe most of them got out with a bit of help and fettling, but as someone mentioned, its fked. It used to be one last bastion of freedom, but it seems that even the friendly circuit has had to toe the councils nimby line

As for family camping there, I'm not sure I'd want to do it. Facilities are somewhat limited although there might be something locally

And by complete conrast, our company ran a midweek track day there recently and the limit was 105db. Even that was not rigidly enforced.

Can't you just put the standard pipe back on?

That's what I'm doing for Donnington this Friday as it's a trackday at 95db.

just phoned No limits and its deff 98db. I need to check my bike before booking anything now. to see if I can get under 98db.

Just a quick question, As I've never had a bike noise checked how do they go about it. I was told it's a static check. with cars track days it's 1 meter at 45 degree angle from the end of the can at 3/4 revs.

Would that be the same for a bike noise test?
