What's it like to do 150 mph on a bike?

I often hit 160/170 on my Ninja on my families private drive.
It's very windy and I'm not sure if it's because I wear glasses but things do get blury, especially police cars. (That I can see in the motorway opposite, obviously)
Little undulations in the road feel like hills and get the back/front end wobbling slightly but you've just got to keep it pinned.
I find after a 30 min ride my forehead hurts from the wind pressure.
Doing 70 is so sloooooww, much like Pistonheads servers.
Umm, just how long is your family's private drive? It's very windy and I'm not sure if it's because I wear glasses but things do get blury, especially police cars. (That I can see in the motorway opposite, obviously)

30 minutes at 160/170 (mph?) is 80 to 85 miles long! Which county do they own?
150 in a car is a lot, especially on backroads, used to cook the brakes on my M5 regularly, it can tip the sweet side of an indicated 180 on the duel carraigeway also, raced a few bikes too but not many have the stomach for it over 170 to be honest, heavy ol bus but that V8 pulls like a train.
It's not much on a superbike to be honest and getting there doesn't take long at all, you don't need autobahns or any of that lark just tuck down- keep er pinned and avoid any obstacles.
It's hitting a bump at close to that speed and deliberately power wheelying over it is where the buzz is at, too strong on the throttle and the wind catches the underside keeping 'er up for what seems like an eternity until you touch down with the rear brake just in time for that rapidly approaching corner.
At the isle of man this year I've found that the biggest hurdle when speeding wasn't focusing on your corners, grip levels or knowing when to and how hard to brake (like you would in a race) but was actually trying to determine what the other biker's would do, ie. you've got a clear run but there's a probably a mini battle going on ahead with other bikers at a pace thats a little less than your own and murphys law states that one's inevitably going to overtake the other right at that exact same time when you're going past, or that maybe they've sat behind a boxster for long enough and suddenly move out to overtake it or something, but you've got to make allowances and leave enough room when pressing on and trying not to ruffle any feathers, especially oul boys with bad hearts etc. who probably think they're flying because that norton was hot sheet back in its hay day and don't realise how far the game has moved on.

we got to 190 mph while playing on the Desmo the GSXR would beat it to 180 then the Desmo would start pulling away

Agree,
150+ on the plastic ZXR, not too scary.
180+ on the autobahn in Dodge Viper, quite scary as everything that pulls out in front of you looks to be stationary.
148 on the V-Rod, had to use the rear passenger pegs to stop my legs being ripped off and put simply, I almost shat myself
Before we get the comments:
150 on a naked bike is not the same as 150, naked on a bike, but I'm someone has done that as well.
(Looks like its Speedo's and a shower cap to beat)

I know that's in a country where most anything goes, but I love the lunacy and illegality of that clip in that you are able to post up caning slick shod race bikes doing that st on the road!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBopA6BfQjQ&lis...
150 on a bike is not a skill, unless it's on a fast sweeper. I did this at 17 on my dad's ZZR1100 - although I sh*t myself, it's bottle as opposed to any kind of skill. It's more visceral than a car at that speed, but equally easy. I just find my eyes doing that road, temp gauge, rev counter, speedo, road, temp gauge, rev counter, speedo shuffle whenever I max a bike for any distance.
Personally, my current challenge is to hit 150 on the back wheel. I've had the front lift over a crest at 140 with a tug and at 130 with a pillion but they are low short wheelies. From low speed, on occasion I've maxxed my 600 in 4th gear on the rear wheel which is low 130s, but it's having none of it in 5th with my skill/bottle level and even 4th is unusual to get into and still keep it up. I think I need a litre 4 or a 1200 twin to realise that 150 dream on the rear. The 2012 Blade I tested ping up in 3rd at 100+ with barely any provocation.
This is all at Nurburgring of course.
The thought of doing over 100 on a bike scares the shiit out of me but then when i was coasting on a nice long straight runway on the first day i rode a proper bike, doing 100mph shocked me as it seems so mellow and average. So yeah the thought of 150 scares me but im sure in the moment you dont really log the fear.

Paul25 clocked me at 145 ish on the local duel carriageway.150 on a bike is not a skill, unless it's on a fast sweeper. I was passing someone on a 600 who was over the tank at the time.

Has anyone done 150mph naked?
I've pillioned at 130mph in Italy on the back of a GSXR750 in shorts, T-shirt, flip flops and no helmet in the 1990s. To say I was pissed off with the rider (family friend) is an understatement. It pushed my eyelashes into my eyes and scared the st out of me.When I got on, it was on the proviso that it was a slow trip through Rimini from the hotel to the beach.
