Indicated 180 on GPS on the blade, this year on the autobahn in Germany. Great for a bit, and a right laugh, but very tiring after a while, and nearly went into the central reservation as I was giggling my tits off.

Here's my mate following ( or trying to) on his 2009 r6. The bike just scuppered into the distance

At Millbrook on a Lamborghini day I did 0mph -180mph - 0mph in a mile in an LP640 with the most flamboyant Italian test driver in the passenger seat.

As for bikes at speed, when at high speed and the instructor offers you a polo that's funny !!

What's it like doing 150mph? Well, it hurt my neck when I did it on a bike.

When I went that speed in a Radical SR3 race car, it was quite normal, bar the loud wind noise.

Bike I feel safe comfortable in control, most of my cars felt unsafe and although M Division claim great sporting pedigree in the real world don't provide, sort your R & D out for us consumers. Slightly off topic I know!

First thing I did when I passed my test was jump on my bike and wind the throttle open - indicated 160+ on the speedo with no real effort at all. How easy is it to do 150 on a bike? - Very!!
This. Just do a recky first to check for greed cameras and potencial hazards. Get caught and expect bum rapeage behind bars!

Also check your tyres, bike and clothing, best to stay on the bike at that speed but you'll be in for a slide if you fall off so make sure it's a long comfortable one..

At 150 there is very little you can do if a hazard rears its ugly head. I wonder what a stone feels like!

1988 and dressed in a nylon bomber jacket, jeans, trainers but a decent helmet, a Simpson RX I believe. I had opened the throttle wide on my GPZ900R and everything went hyper-drive.

The cars on my side of the 3 lane highway appeared to be coming at me in streaks of light. I gloried in it for mere seconds before the first bend hove to, well a bend at that speed anyway, and took a quick peek at the speedo which was coming down and past an indicated 160.

Funny to think that I clad my self in thousands of pounds worth of protective gear these days just for the commute into work where I rarely top 30 biggrin

Pretty boring TBH. Was many years ago now when roads were a lot quieter.
I suspect now unless it was stupid o'clock in the morning much more scary.

Not proud but have done it without appropriate apparall.

On the right bike a non event I'd say, naked bike ~133 felt like someone was leaning on my forehead and was really rather uncomfortable. On faired bike on test ride I went up to ~120 by complete accident as being use to the naked bike it felt no more than ~80.
