The bike still wheelies and the front readily comes off the ground. It only kicks in when the wheel rises too high for the parameters at which point it kicks in.

Seriously anyone who thinks slick mode will make a difference on the road is dreaming.
I'll decide when the wheel is too high thanks, and the throttle/back brake does just fine to moderate it.

Then here's a bizarre idea. Why not try one without it or if you buy one buy one without it.

Better still stick to Hondas after all we all know how hardcore they are.

Bizarre like wanting to try slick mode that you said I didn't need on the road. I haven't had a Honda for 10 years.

You don't need slick mode on the road. You don't even need race mode either. Road mode is fine.

But hey you stick to your guns. Much better that way for all of us.

No, its just a toy although bright/dry days I will go out as long as the roads haven't been treated. I am unusual in that I have a TVR S3 that gets used more in the winter (again when dry) than in the summer, which reminds me next job is to get the chassis on that ACF50'd

Just sorned my bike, dont really enjoy tip toeing around in the winter and knackering sticky tyres on cold tarmac. I use my weekend car for fun when it's cold.

Very nice and rare! You would get a good wedge for a lot less than a good Griff, Griff is one sexy piece of kit though, mate took out a T350 out today but is undecided as serious money

None at the moment, I am st out of cash biggrin but.........

possibly a DB screen (zero gravity) as I am 6' 2" but seems Ok with the std screen at the moment so not sure.

Replace the can, but think I will leave the cat as is, looking at all sorts but Austin Racing slip-on GP ultimate (looks like Racefit Growler) looks nice and good value, Akra and Yoshi etc are bloody expensive!

Rear seat cowl, probably the first thing I will do

Oh and I do like the look of those Limberger lower fairings that cover the cat

But at the moment I am still comprehending the ability of the bike and chuckling to myself at how awesome the acceleration and brakes are :-)

What do you recommend?

No idea what the best rubber is mind you, it seems to depend on what you read and how they feel for you, it is still on the std Metzeler Racetecs K3's, i have never used them before but they do seem to be very good in the 60 miles I have done so far and look like they have taken some punishment already and still 500 - 1000 miles left in them I reckon
