Well it depends. If you like racing then you have to appreciate the bloke and the racing. If you are more interested in the soap opera and off track personalities (i.e. you need to get a life) - then yes; you will be unhappy.

Roll on Brands.

Biaggi is like Alex Ferguson in the footy. Very good at what he does, but is a complete ! Cant stand him!

Tom Sykes has riden brilliantly this year and can be extreamly proud of the way he has ridden and gotten the maximum from his bike. If they can sort out the tyre life on that thing im sure he can take the title next year! smile

Biaggi had a lot of praise for Tom on track and in the interviews.

Was that a retirement Championship? He was very emotional talking to his lady in parc ferme.

You can't knock biaggi for his commitment, whatever's happened he's just got up and carried on.

Sykes over performed this year, he's said they were aiming for top 5 so must be happy with 2nd.

Melandri on the other had crashes at the wrong time of the year, well done for turning up and racing with broken ribs etc. He will go home with the real prize though, mrs melandri wink

Lastly do you think biaggi was telling his mrs he's retiring, or there splitting up and he was saying thanks for coming and supporting me.

Top work. One of the most dickish responses I have read to a perfectly valid comment I have read on here for a long time. What is wrong with this place at times?

Only just watched race 2, Sykes did as much as he could, wish it was enough as I can bloody stand Biaggi. Oh well.

So somebody telling me what I have to think constitutes a valid comment now does it??

Same old bullst, because I wasn't pleased that Biaggi won over Sykes that automatically implies that I've "got no life" and aren't a "proper" racing fan. So I call "dickish" on you as well to be honest for not recognising that, so yeah you're right: what is wrong with this place at times??

Very good couple of races. Great to see Guinters get a home podium, I really like and rate him - altho Im not sure if Fixi/Crescent will give him a half decent bike for 2013 (good as done deal, alledgedly).

Second race was almost a game of chess, Sykes could do no more than he did - one rider that has definitely come of age this year, true contender for the title next year.

All the top boys made mistakes through the season, but with the two race deal, its inevitable, and must make for a long hard season for them.

Fair play to Max, he did what was required, although I think the pressure did get to him. I wanted to see Marco win mid season, as after his torrid time at Ducati, I felt he deserved it.

The sad thing about today is that the racing season is drawing to its close, which means the long dark, cold nights of winter must be endured before we get to sit in front of Eurosport agin, all excited and getting used to new paintjobs/helmets/riders etc.

Calm down petal, it is only the Internet.

Personally, while I respect your right to have an opinion, I think it is lacking in class to call a rider names who has just slogged his guts out and taken the title. Saying something like "Congrats max, even if I think you are a cock weasel" is very different to just throwing up an insult. You don't like him, I get it, but are you genuinely blind to the obvious talent that the guys has when he is on a bike?

So at what stage did I question his talent or commitment?? Are you blind to the fact that I've never mentioned either of those points???

Whats it like getting out of the southbank at brands?

Thinking of parking there next week but don't want to be stuck there for ages.
