Yup, and me.

Fair play to him for having the minerals to enter, but I can't help feeling it will end up messy.

Wiki sez

In 2012 Harris made his TT debut for the SMT honda racing team finishing 21st in the superbike race and 28th in the superstock race whilst also lapping in excess of over 121 mph.

Is that ok? I think JB will be looking for something closer to the top than that

Karl Harris was iirc the fastest newcomer this year so did probably better than his results indicate.
Only a few have gone faster as a newcomer

Just hope he treats the course with respect but good on him for giving it a go.

Credit to him for taking it on though.

Lets hope not , but I agree.

I remember one Pat Hennen who decided to take on the TT after Barry Sheene was so vocal against it.

Actually, having now thought about it, I reckon it could actually suit his style. There is something about his approach that perhaps could see him as the shock of TT2013. He’s a tenacious fecker. You only have to look at some of the moves he’s made over the last few seasons to realise that. He’s fast and committed. I just wonder if he has that pinpoint accuracy that the likes of Mcguinness has??

He’ll need to sort his fecking hair out though. The natives will think he’s a she

A couple I'm thinking of didn't end well for other riders.

Okay

Apart from those on Guintoli and Andrews, and the other 5 riders that laid their bikes down, oh and Rutter, lets try and pull some positives out of this

Maybe he might be less dangerousadventurous when he's racing the clock rather than other riders on the same piece of track so maybe he just might do ok.

I'm trying to recollect what his qualy laps have been like in BSB, as opposed to overtaking moves in races. (though I've always said (slightly tongue in cheek) that he doesn't do tight hairpin bends)
Lord knows he needs some hairpins for that barnet.
