I have been looking for some new textile trousers since the weather has rapidly started going downhill, but I have short legs!!
My jacket is a Weise Colorado and is only a couple of months old and I wanted the trousers to match but the only ones Weise do in a short leg are about £130 and did not fit so I tried a pair of Richa Everest Textiles and they fitted perfect and only cost £70. Bargin.
Now both my jacket and trousers have the 6" zip in the back to link the two together, but as they are made by different companies, the zips do not match, typical.
The zip on my jacket came with both parts, so I could get the detachable bit sewn into my trousers but how, do I remove the zip on my trousers first (voiding warranty I presume) or do I not bother and just wear them as separates?
Cheers.

I've never zipped my textiles together. But I'd suspect you could get the zip sewn in easy enough if you wanted too.

Have you got the other part for the trousers too? If so sew the two extra strips together to make an adapter. I'd never had zip together kit before my current set and it's a revelation, no more cold breezes up my back

No I have not, but that is a very good idea, all I need to do is to see if I can get hold of a Richa zip!!
