No, it's a CB500 Four, which rolled off the production line on 6th August 1974. The 500 Four was the first Japanese middleweight 4-cylinder bike - the little brother to the CB750. After a few years, it was developed into the CB550.

The sales success of the CB500/550 was such that the other manufacturers were forced to respond. First came the Suzuki GS550 in 1977, then the Kawasaki Z500 in 1979 and finally the Yamaha XJ550 in 1981. All the current Japanese in-line 4-cylinder middleweight bikes can trace their ancestry back to these machines.
