I would love to tear into the guy but I did something similar…

Well I was at a gig not too long ago of a big rock band and the legendary drummer threw his sticks into the crowd. I jumped but it flew over me and a guy about 3 back grabbed it. So being caught up in the moment, I jumped backwards and grabbed it whilst this guy still had it. The problem is, said guy was massive. So we wrestled around for it for a while and eventually decided to ‘share’ it. So we snapped it in half.

Near the end of the gig some scrote tried to nick my half of the stick. Harping on about wanting one for 10 years – fortunately my brother saw (I only had one hand on it) and with the guile of a young Henry Cooper, landed a right hook square on the guy’s chin which promptly dropped him to the beer soaked terra firma.

I did lose my mobile phone at the same gig mind you, so it wasn’t all my own way.

Stealing a boot from a kid though *tut*

I hope the fan that blooded a childs nose grabbing a riders thrown boot (after the celebrations) feels good about himself.
And how did he bloody it?

There's hardly enough info ('evidence'??!) in your post to sentence him, is there?
Fer fk's sake everyone, who needs evidence??
This is trial by internet. No corroberation is required. Just post some random picture, accuse someone of something heinous and bob's your uncle. Lets lynch him, lickety split.
Seems a tad reminisent of a bike doing 199 mph past a horse and young rider. Except he wasn't.
Are you lot really that easily led? fking shame on all of you.
Oi we don't want your mature, independent though here! wink

Where did the pictures on Twitter come from?

Were they released by the circuit/organisers (they look cctv-ish to me) or just screen grabs someone got off their telly?

I was about 4 meters away from this event, it was true, he wrestled the boot off the kid, hurting the kid. BUT, a Marshall came to the rescue hoisted that child AND another out of the mass of people, got the kids pit-side out of harms way. So tip O' the cap to him!

Shakey and the sponsors at the event have been in touch with the kid and he will be getting a load of other goodies to compensate for this knob who hurt him.

Kid WINS!!!!

I fear that'll be the end of the post last race, lobbing of gear into the crowd then. 'elf and safety will be telling the riders not to do it any more in case more kids have to be 'rescued' frown

We were ini the grandstand just above where Toseland threw his leathers in the crowd the year he did the double (with the god awful version of the national anthem)

There was a pitch fought battle and tug of war for a long time after the leathers landed with a number of people laying claim to the leathers, it'd be much better if they auctioned the kit for charity like the CJ Fund or similar and just lobbed the sliders/caps/etc into the crowd . .

I once had the glove from Luca Scassa glance of the fingertips of my outstretched hand at Monza, it's the closest I've come to actually ever getting anything .. .

No-one reaslised at first as there was a MASSIVE bundle for it, only. Only a couple of mins after when the kid was down, but I couldn't see the chap anywhere afterwards.

And that Toseland leather scenario, I remember that, they were there for AGES afterwards....SO funny.
