But this is Pistonheads Biker Banter where actively telling people how little regard you give to safety makes you cooler. Scientific fact.

"We don't want ABS or traction control! Especially in the snow. My suit made of cling-film and toilet tissue will be fine and I've made a helmet out of leaves."
Cool is genetic, not acquired.

At least one of my bikes has traction control and abs because that makes some sense.

PS please don't end a sentence with the word 'fact', it really hurts my brain.

PPS I know this sounds a bit strange, but are you eddie izzard?, if so I'm a big fan.

I'm interested to know why you think that's relevant, how you're going to score it and how you're going to prove or disprove it? I'm pretty sure I'd just make a number up.

I know 103 bikers.
Name them or STFU

My new one

£350 but came with a arai fleece bag worth £45, spare visor worth £40, arai service kit, and muck off helmet cleaner and 2 arai pin locks
Been looking at this helmet, love the design!! Is it a matt finish? Also where did you get it at that price with all the extras? Bargain!

On here you reckon that people think they're 'cool' if they don't buy into all the hype that you'll die the minute you wear an ill-fitting lid or don't wear an airbag suit. In reality (away from forums) you'll find that most people think the same way as those that you reckon are trying to be cool.

Ok, well I'll try to remember to look out for that when I pluck up the courage to leave the house.

I love this one - couldn't believe the depth of finish of it in the "flesh" when I saw one in the shops. Lurvely!

My new Shark S700, very impressed with it. Got pinlock thrown in with it, so no more fogging up. The drop down visor also means no more dicking around with swapping tinted visors in and out. Its very very quiet too recommend it for everyday use.

Rotary Madness, that looks pretty mean.

Could be the new Simpson Alien?

I like the dial visor systems a lot of lids have these days, cracking idea.

What bike do you ride BTW, nothing in your profile?

My current lid, cheap, light and good looking but bad quality

My old Arai RX7RR that i love but i guess as its 18 years since manufactured that can't be worn.

The other's half's lid which was £20 from the BMF

I think i may look a new lid at the MCN bike show in a couple of weeks.

Ah I can see it now.

But why Merch?? Just always wanted to pork her?
Why? Why not.. I love her music, always have, the artwork has a 'theme' of a song I like.. got a spitfire on there too. I was intending to have an old Harley painted by Piers Dowell, but I ended up being sent to Switzerland for a year, so it didnt happen. With a waiting list of a 6 months plus, I didnt want to waste my booking, so had this done instead. Here's the other side..

That Kate Bush lid is laugh out loud funny and batst crazy but also amazing. Haha. Awesome. You win this thread!

Had this AGV Skyline for a while now, still liking it.

I really like that paint job! Would be perfect for doing a track day in one of them Morgan three wheelers with the roundrels and tuff! hehe
