It was a plain white XR1100 I got custom sprayed in that scheme. It was actually a take on the Shoei design as posted on the previous page (the red/green X-spirit)

What's the Marquez Shoei like for aerodynamics and noise?

To me it feels more stable in that your head does not buffet as much. I believe the blurb they spouted for it in that respect.

As for noise I always wear plugs so its hard to disseminate between this and my previous xr1000. Bare in mind I had a chin spoiler and whisper strip on the 1000. The nxr comes with a chin curtain as standard and also has ear pads (removable). I wouldn't say its a noisy lid, once again this is personal and depends on what your used to.

Mmm I'm resisting the urge to go for tbis. My biggest gripe with my Speed R is that it isn't very aerodynamic. Just a shame that no shops have this on display for a looksie

New bike, new helmet. I've no complaints at all about my Caberg Ego (especially the awesome ventilation), but fancied trying a higher quality helmet.

It was...until I got my hands on it:

It's suffering from a very odd fault, it's randomly spitting back through #1 throttle body at idle, but only when the engines fully warmed up and sometimes it will spit back and then immediately stall. Checked all the usual suspects; throttle bodies are balanced, no air leaks, new coils, different set of injectors, valve clearances are ok. I suspect the main fault is it's country of origin biggrin Still, it's all good clean fun.

This video shows what it's doing.

How about one of these to match the boxer waist band visible from the top of your jeans? Even if manufactured by AGV, good lordy...
