Can't say I'm Lorenzo's biggest fan but I liked this lid design of his. Used it a couple of times now and got to say it's very comfy and far lighter than the RST it's replacing. Came with a free pinlock insert too which I've not put in yet but looking forward to trying it out and hopefully no more misting at traffic lights.

Finally I can post in this thread with a new helmet! After the unmitigated disaster that was my attempt to by a bare carbon fibre AGV. Pista GP, and a destroyed matt black Shoei XSpirit2 a few years ago I've concluded that subtle helmets are not for me. So, without further ado, say yellow to my frost white Scott Russell rep.

That is superb and I want one.

Always loved the Russell Shoei models.

Does the sizing match the UK RX7?

Yeah, it does. It is a brilliant fit. It is also substantially cheaper than a UK RX7. Mine came in at £520 delivered. No import duty is due either as helmets are exempt.

Are there any issues with certification/insurance?

I'm not sure, but I've ridden with a Japanese spec Tour X for years so it doesn't really worry me.

I've just bought this Arai Tour X4 Venture. Very comfy, a fair bit quieter than my previous RX7 Corsair and even the colour matches my KTM!

Wanted one of those Arai's Dual Sports, but ended up with this

Pretty much the same as my old Spada, but they updated it a bit the only differences are it now fits nicer, getting less wind noise and it seems lighter on my head. And it also came with a free dark visor which was a bh to change smile

love it captain morgan, awesome looking lid, I was going to get one myself but couldn't justify £400

might still get one when I get my insurance payout.

This one for me:

Apparently it's a Jonny Rea rep. I just thought it was cool and cheap.

Hi all.

Got my Shoei NXR delivered last week, can't remember the colour scheme name but it's really nice in the flesh:

Got it from Race Visors, came with a free dark smoked second visor, a clear pinlock insert, and an Optimiser, with 10% off so £430 delivered altogether smile

Prior to that I used a HJC FG-15 like this, which has been very good:

Mate at work was selling his Schuberth R1. He rode for a bit about 4 yrs ago and then sold his bike when his kid was born.

It's immaculate and more importantly i know where it's been!

He wanted £150 and i bit his arm off. Included the Oxford carry bag behind it. Same make and size as mine, but nicer colours and will look nice on the 'blade...which i'm collecting TOMORROW!!

woohoo
