I've got one of these on the way:
X-Lite X-661 Titantech. I had a look at a couple of X-Lite's helmets before having never seen one in person. The shop didn't have a large Titantech so I tried on an X-Lite Ultra Carbon Puro and loved it. However, the Ultra Carbon was £100 more and had a tinted visor, which weren't selling points. I picked up the Titantech and had a look at it and considered that if you had looked at both side by side with no price tag, you'd probably think that the Titantech was the more expensive lid, especially since it comes with a flip-down sun visor, something I love. Thankfully, preferring the cheaper one urged me to go and buy it online this morning with some fancy ear plugs (since the new exhaust on my Triumph is a lot louder than the old one).
The Titantech feels really light and very comfortable. It's considerably lighter than the Shoei Raid II I've got at the moment. It'll stand out well on the roads too. It looks like it'll make you look like a microphone in the picture where the light is all shooting back in the camera, the metallic look isn't quite as bright or reflective in person but it's still pretty unique. I can't wait to take it out.

It arrived this morning but I've been sent the matte finish lid, not the gloss finish. I'm returning it to exchange it for the one I wanted, but it means another wait and I'll not have the right one until next week now. The fit is fantastic though, so at least a straight swap for the same lid with a different finish should give the same results.

I quite like that actually. I like the microphone look but it's supposed to get slimmer to the end but I get fatter in the middle then slimmer again . . . not a good look mitzy said:
